Here's what you need to know about fees, insurance, and what to expect.

If anything isn’t covered here, reach out and I’ll answer directly.

Insurance

I accept Medicare and IEHP for eligible clients.

If you have Medicare or IEHP, your coverage may reduce or eliminate your out-of-pocket cost depending on your specific plan. Contact your insurance provider directly to confirm your mental health benefits and any applicable copay or deductible before your first session.

I am not in-network with other insurance plans. If you have a PPO plan that includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be able to submit for partial reimbursement. I provide a superbill, an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company directly.

Why Cash-Pay?

Many clients choose to pay out of pocket even when insurance is available. There are a few practical reasons for that.

Insurance coverage for mental health requires a diagnosis, which becomes part of your medical record. It can also limit the number of sessions covered or require periodic reviews. Paying privately keeps your records fully confidential and gives you and your therapist complete control over the pace and direction of treatment.

That’s not the right choice for everyone. But it’s worth understanding what you’re trading before you decide.

Session Rate

$205 per 50-minute session.

This applies to individual therapy, couple sessions, and family sessions. In-person and online sessions have the same rate.

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept credit cards, debit cards, HSAs, and FSAs.

Reduced Fee
I keep a small number of spots available at a reduced fee for clients who need it.

If the standard rate isn’t workable for you right now, reach out and let me know. I’ll do my best to find a way to make it work if I have availability.

Cancellation Policy

I ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged the full session fee. This applies to all clients regardless of reason, with the exception of genuine emergencies.

If you have questions about fees, insurance, or whether your specific plan applies, just ask.
